Israeli High Technology Entrepreneurs

Introduction

Israeli high technology (high tech) entrepreneurs and ventures exhibit high activity level and success rate. A leading nation in high tech startup companies Israel is ranked third in NASDAQ. This success phenomenon of Israeli high tech entrepreneurs has raised great curiosity and media attention (Schwartz and Pines, 2005); however, limited research addressed the use and impact of social networks by Israeli entrepreneurs operating in the US. Israeli high tech entrepreneurs and use of social networks are the focus of this study.
